Finally found it. Trillian – the ultimate chat program. Listed at SuperShareware.com which is a pretty neat site – you can sort your searches to display just freeware! I *love* free software!

Oh, I am so getting this program when I get home. How well does it work? How easy is it?

I haven’t run it yet, just finished the download. It got 5 out of 5 stars at ZDNet though! I have heard good things from others who use it too. I am off to install it!

OMG! I love this program. I’ve actually had it installed for weeks now. it works GREAT! We have a bunch of people on our team – some who prefer Yahoo, some MSN, some ICQ. It loaded all my contacts from all these programs (all except AIM) with no problem. With AIM, I first had to EXPORT my contacts and then IMPORT them into trillian…not very hard. I decided later on that I would run ICQ seperately, because I missed having the “history” feature (reading past conversations). Otherwise, that program ROCKS! 🙂
