The more I thought about it, I realized that I’m a “get along” type of person – I want to get along with everyone I work with, I want everyone to get along with me. I’m all about keeping the peace. From everything that Leslie told me earlier about her company and the job opportunity – it all sounds like a perfect fit. So I called her back and asked her if, instead of coming in to meet everyone tomorrow, if she just wanted me to come in and start temping. It would give me a chance to decide if it works for me in the long run, and give her a chance to test me out – a win-win situation for everyone. She said it sounded like a great idea – so I’ll be there by 9:00 tomorrow morning! I’m so excited, I can hardly wait!

On a side note, I’m a “peacekeeper”, “get-along” kind of gal too. Possibly sometimes annoyingly so. But hell, I figure it’s better to look at the bright side and be called a Pollyanna than to be any other way. I’m just me. 🙂
