Working in the internet field, sometimes people throw terms at me that I’ve never heard of, or I need a good description of how something works to pass on to a client. Yesterday, Jeff – one of our network techs – pointed me to Webopedia: Online Dictionary for Computer and Internet Terms. Great information, easy to find things, and I’ve already used it to explain to a client what XML means.
I have also used WhatIs in the past, but the search in PCWebopedia was faster, and the information seems to be more concise.

Webopedia is a great resource. I’ve been using it for a while now, glad to see someone else does too! 😀
It’s also http://www.webopedia.com too, if you don’t feel like typing the extra two letters 🙂 Another great info site is http://www.howstuffworks.com (for info on just about anything)
thanks for the link! looks like something i need to check out! 😉
