Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival…

It would probably be a little over the top if I skipped town to go to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, wouldn’t it? But it’s free to get in! *sigh* It is still 3 weeks away, but I’m getting festival envy. Just think … all of that yarn … oh my … I’m hyperventilating just thinking about it. Such yumminess!

Hmmm… if I go to the festival to promote Blogomania and knitting blogs, it is a business trip then – isn’t it?

Yes, I know that those of you that don’t knit or crochet think I’m nuts right now. Yes, there are actual festivals for these things. Not only festivals, but there is so much more. Knitting tours for England and Ireland. Knitting cruises. Oh, the places I could go and the things I could do…

I’m going to MDSW, along with everyone else. And my spinning wheel is shipping tomorrow! Whee! I’m insanely excitied about both the wheel and MDSW. It’s going to be so fun. You should totally come!

I think NOW is a good time to start planning for the 2006 MS&W Festival .

BTW – I think you have me sold on the Cherry Tree Hill lace yarn you were using. I’m dying to try it now!

Dude, go to Rhinebeck in NY (in October); smaller, more knitting-focused, and that part of upstate NY is thick with yarn shops. That’s my plan – MS&W sounds fun, but it’s huge(!) A girl can only buy so much yarn, you know? Wait, why are you laughing?

It would be cool if you went, Christine…I’m just a hop-skip-jump down the road from MD. 🙂 I wasn’t planning on going, but I may if Mac is going…just to meet her! *LOL* 😀

Accidentally found your site and it was quite intrigued by it. Very nice concept. I’m about to set up a blog and am having a hard time deciding which software to use.

Just curious on how you decided which way to go.

I’m not very good at knitting but am thinking of doing some crochet again. My Mum is the most amazing knitter. She makes up designs in her head and knits them without even writing them down. I used to be very keen on cross stitch, but eyes and hands aren’t up to it these days. I like your blog by the way.
