My Country Cottage

Back on the morning of September 11th, before I had turned on the news or left the house and discovered the beginning of the day’s events, I got up early and FTP’d my old site, Christine’s Country Cottage so that I could share my “flashback to 1998” to go along with the old days of the web discussion and Retro week (can you believe that was over 250 posts ago? In just 6 weeks? Wow.) By the time I got to work, it was NOT the right time to share the Country Cottage site. So I just left it there. It has come up a few times lately though, so I decided that now I would post the link. Unchanged since 1998, only expanded on. Links are probably broken, the e-mail address isn’t right, and the graphics shouldn’t be downloaded anymore, Provo Craft had an issue with that. If you download them, don’t link back to me because I am not sure how long the Cottage will be sitting out there. But, I wanted to share my bit of nostalgia for today…

I *so* wish I could find my first web site! I did it back in 1996 (yikes!!) – it would be SOO funny to see now. All it had on it was a funny picture of Sam and me and our ferrets (we had ferrets back then…) and a ton of links. I remember thinking I was so cool because I did this background that made it look like it was on “notepaper” LOL! What a dork I was! (Who am I kidding… I still am! LOL!)
