It is an absolutely gorgeous day outside – probably one of the last “cool” days we’ll have before summer hits in full force. Cool is a relative term around here – it’s probably in the mid-80’s, but we’ve already seen temps as high as 94 and it’s still May. I’m learning to not hate Houston as much as I once did, but I still hate the summer heat which keeps you indoors in air conditioned comfort.
Today I want to run and play in the park. I want to wander aimlessly and take photographs. Instead, I’m enjoying my view from 34 floors up, looking out at a clear, crisp blue sky. Wandering at lunchtime is an option, and I might have to take a stroll after work and see what I can find. Maybe that will help to satisfy some of this creative energy that is trapped inside of me.
