Thanks to Jennifer (whose comments are all fixed now, YEAH!!!), I discovered that today is the first of several palindromes to occur this year. The date 10-1-01 reads the same backwards & forwards. There will be another one on 10-2-01, 10-11-01 and 10-22-01, and that’s it until November, 2011! How is that for cool?

But really 10-1-01 and 10-11-01 are the only ones that I could write down on a piece of paper using straight lines and hold up to a mirror and truly read them “backwards”.
