I couldn’t decide what to do with the pennies I am rolling for Shel’s Penny Drive – then I found Operation Santa Claus: A Call to Action. I don’t have a lot of pennies to give (I am pretty good about using my change) but the ones I have will be going to help Kim and Scott out with this!
Why did I pick this one out of all the ones I considered? Because being unemployed makes you realize the fine line that exists between life as you know it and a life of poverty. I am grateful for all that I have – it may not be a lot, but it is a lot more than other people have. I just want to help out someone else who might not have as much as I do right now.

I sent some money to them the other day. Great cause.
You have a good soul Christine. I wish more people realized how much they have compared to others. It would go a long way towards increased funding for charities.
I hope everything is going well for you! 🙂
Christine — thanks for helping to spread the word on this. We’re utterly amazed at the response we’ve been getting to this.
Christine, I know exactly how you feel… I have so much to be grateful for, even though I’m career-free. Operation Santa Claus just seemed like the perfect way to show my gratitude.
