(Want to know why I wrote this? Or translate it to English? Look below.)
I noticed I have had a lot of visitors today from this site, which is in Portuguese and so I headed over to Babelfish to translate what they said about my blog. Then I decided I should leave them a message here too!
The translation of the text above?
Hello to all of the Portuguese speaking visitors to my site! Welcome! I hope you like the photos here, and if you want to see even more you can visit my other site, Pixelog. I’ve used Babelfish to translate this, so I hope it isn’t too bad!

Oh, that IS funny! A perfect example of synchronistic happenstance!
I’ve used Babelfish quite a few times. It’s OK for word-to-word translations, but not so good in making it understandable. One way to check is to take the translation it gives you and translate it back to English. Here’s what they did with your message:
“Hello to all the talkative visitors portuguese my place! Boa.vinda! I wait it taste of the photos here, and if you to want to see exactly plus you can visit mine another place, Pixelog. I used Babelfish to translate this, thus that I wait it I am not too much bad!”

Looks like Babelfish did a good job but it’s not exact. Like the part “meu local” translated to “my location”. That was a cool welcome though 😉
