Reloaded Review…

If you have a chance to see Matrix Reloaded on a huge IMAX screen, I highly recommend doing it. The sound was incredible, the movie was huge, it was all I expected and more. Most excellent!

I’ve discovered something rather interesting this past week. As I’ve been more of a social butterfly than normal, it seems I have nothing to say once I go to post here. I’ll think of things that I want to write about, but by the time I have a chance to stop and write, the words don’t come. It seems to be the introvert side of me revolting due to the extrovert side of me taking over in real life. Interesting, if you ask me.

Obscuration. That is my new word of the week, thanks to The Original Blurker. No formal meaning yet, I just like the concept of obscuration.

Hey, you don’t know me, but I love reading your blog, it’s thoroughly entertaining. Was that your first time seeing the movie? I personally thought that the sex scene within the first 15 minutes was a little too much. Although Keanu Reeves is very hot. Hehe.

No, I saw it a month or so ago on the regular screen. I had been warned about the sex scene, and I thought it tied in to the story line so it didn’t bother me too much – as far as sex scenes go, it was pretty mild. I still won’t take my 11 year old son to see it though.

you know, i hadn’t really thought of it before, when it comes to posting i think the same thing is true of me. this past weekend was busy and filled with friends, but when i tried to write about it last night i couldn’t find much to say. i think it’s because i just need the outlet – and if it’s fulfilled through face2face means, then the blogging ends up taking a backseat.

I’ve always been partial to the term “obfuscation” myself. 🙂 And I think that blogging requires at least some degree of introversion – but that may just be an introvert’s view of things. 😉

By the way, did any scenes get cut from the movie? I heard that IMAX is only capable of showing a certain period of time (2 hrs?)

Oh yeah, the bottom text of this comment box can’t be seen when you use the dark template. =)

Nothing was cut that I can think of – I would have noticed if something was missing. We didn’t stay this time through all the credits to see if the sneak preview was at the end again, but everything else was there.
