Return of the Skins…

I am in the slow process of bringing the skins back to this site, just in time for the 1 year anniversary of when I first skinned it! I am reminded once again why I hate CSS. In the basic blue skin, the dates are very wonky. In my old pink skin with the pictures of me it’s even worse. I have no idea why and I can’t find a fix – so I gave up, at least for now. I had a lot of other skins to work on! The dark grey skin with the Pixelog thumbnails has returned, and it’s working just fine.

Next I added the pink cookie and cheerful skin that Kristine made for me.

After that, I made a skin using a photo sent to me by Chris. This one proves that Big Pink Cookies will take over the world!

Welcome back, skins!

if only I wasn’t so scared of php… I, too, could skin my site! God knows I’ve got enough “skins” I’d love to use!

You do realize that the only snippet of PHP I used to skin this site is a little piece of code that is already written that says “read the cookie, and pick the skin” to the browser, right?

My biggest hurdle a year ago was CSS. Kristine & I have already discussed how my CSS needs to be improved – but a year ago I had no idea what I was doing!

I love the big cookie over the city. That’s classic!!!

decisions…decisions! can’t pick my favorite…need it to just randomly generate for indecisive folks like me!
