Shhh… Working Hard…

The party went well yesterday and the boys all had a good time. Mike came over after EJ & Sherry’s wedding – I had to miss it for the birthday party, but I didn’t want him to miss it too. He said it was really nice, and I wish I could have been there for it. They make such a wonderful couple – I wish them nothing but the best in their life ahead together.

Today I have been busy on several different projects around the house, and even a few web related ones. Lots of photos added to PictureYourself (getting closer to the 1000 mark!) and working on privacy policy related documents for other projects.

I finally finished Jemima J today too, and it was absolutely FANTASTIC! I read at least half of it in one sitting, and it was nice to take some time to enjoy reading a good book. I was so inspired by the time I was done! Has anyone else read it? What did you think of it?

I couldn’t really get into it so I dropped it after a couple chapters. Something about British authors just make me feel stupid. 🙂 Maybe I should give it another chance. I liked Good in Bed alot more though.

I read it a summer ago or maybe two. I like it. I thought it was funny, even if it sounded a lot like Helen Fielding.

I’d recommend it for a relaxing funny and somewhat inspiration guide to dating, weightloss and recognizing the good things in front of you.

See, I liked it better than Helen Fielding. I like her work too, but Jemima… Jemima sounds like me. I read the book laughing through half of it because she did what I would do and said what I would say. Twists and turns in the plot too – that is always a good thing to me! I was caught off guard more than once – I love it when that happens!

Kathy – yes, Helen Fielding wrote Bridget Jones’s Diary. If I remember right, I liked the second book better than the first, but liked Jemima J. better than Shopaholic or Good in Bed. Hmmm… I seem to have quite an addiction to these books, you know? 😉
