The Heidelberg Castle skin, while I love the colors, is simply too hard to read on some monitors. The perk of skins of course is that you can pick what skin you like, but I prefer to make sure that the opening skin is one that works on several browsers and is pretty easy to read on all of them – so I did some rearranging and made the Venice skin the default. If you want to change back to the Heidelberg Castle skin (or back to Venice if that was your default before this morning), visit the Skin Selector page.

I loved the red color, but you’re right… it was hard to read. I found it a little easier to read at home and impossible at work (different monitor configurations, of course). Perhaps, try a white font?
I think it depends on the monitor and the glare in the room. It was a perfect skin on my 17″ at home, but the crappy-ass Samsung at work makes it hard to read here.
couldn’t you make another skin with the castle picture, but different colors? i like the picture!
hahahhahah j/k… i’m just doing my best to be a pain in your ass… (;
back to venice for me 🙂 I love the green and the picture. So I guess I’ll stick w/this one 🙂
Thank you so much for changing the colors — I couldn’t read the red/black combo at work or at home.
Sorry about that Brian! 🙂 See, that’s the perk to the skins … you can pick whatever works best for you! But the red looked wonderful at home – and at the office – OUCH. Too busy this week to redesign it, so swapping out skin #1 was much faster!
