So Perfectly Tiny…

After seeing the iPod Nano the other day and reading Derek’s post about it, I wondered how long it would take for there to be a “get this for free” site to sign up for one. Kymberlie told me about it last night, and I signed up today! You can sign up too and get your very own iPod Nano just for refering your friends!

I’ve read sites that claim this is a scam. No, it isn’t. It is however something that you’ll have to ask your friends to sign up for. It does work – I can show you my 60gb Photo iPod if you would like to check it out. Just remember the important rule – only one per household. They will check. And they watch IP addresses. (It isn’t good to have a family member with the same name in the same town, etc. sign up. Sometimes even if they are in a different town, they will question it.)

Come on, you know you want the iPod Nano. It’s wonderfully miniscule. So magnificently dainty… Sign up!

It may have worked for some people (you included) but they really screwed up with me and I’ll never sign up for anything they do again. I know for a fact that I had the required people sign up and do the trial offers whatever – and they refused to recognize those as completed signups. (and there wasn’t anyone on the list that signed up that was a family member or in the same household or anything like that) I tried to email them about the issue and only got automated responses back. I also know I wasn’t the only one this happened to. So – it should be noted that they *do* have some history of “issues”…

Good point, Jenn. You know what tripped me up last time? People completing offers while at work behind firewalls. Ugh! Emily was kind enough to go to them and complain though that it wasn’t showing her offer as “complete” on my status list, and they fixed it for us. I had an issue with the iPod Shuffle site though, and I also never got a response back to my e-mails.

But otherwise – they’ve worked out. So I guess I can’t complain too much…
