I am literally in the middle of a split sky. On the left, it is blue and sunny with pretty white puffy clouds. On the right, it is storming, gray clouds with thunder.
Why is it that I feel like this is some strange metaphor for my life right now? There is no reason I can pinpoint, and yet it seems so symbolic. Something is brewing, winds are changing. I’m personally hoping that the sunny side wins out in the end, but I guess you can never have sunshine without rain.

I’m all for the sunny side, myself. My view was interesting (facing the direction of Louisiana, against Milam, for those in downtown Houston) as I could see the wall of rain slowly crawl across the sky. Looks like it never did rain here, but it was interesting to see.
but you can take pictures of it for pixelog, that’s the bright side! 🙂
We can only hope that things will go well but if not am sure you’ll come out better on the other side! Yeah I know that was a corny, cheesy thing to say! But hey it fit the moment!!
I’m totally down with the middle…
hm, personally I love Steve Miller band. Off subject, I know.
I saw that split between sunny and stormy yesterday as I was driving back from the airport. It was freaky.
It’s happening again today – I can see where it is raining just outside of downtown – pouring rain, really thick – and yet it is a clear blue sky over me. Freaky…
Syd, why mention that you love the steve miller band? Since, as everybody knows, Stuck in the Middle with You was written and recorded by Stealer’s Wheel. I would think if you truly loved that band, then you might know that.
