Brrr! While I wasn’t looking, a cold front came through Houston. I guess that explains the 60 mph winds we had last night, huh? It was really muggy last night before the storm came through and felt like it was in the high 70s. Earlier, I opened the door and was greeted with a chilly breeze – it’s only 44 degrees out there right now!
I know anyone north of Houston that is reading this right now thinks I’m nuts. But we’ve had maybe 3 days of “fall” weather so far – it’s supposed to be back up to 73 by Friday. That makes it really fun as you try to get in the holiday spirit, you know?
As I babble about the weather, I’ve finally finished posting my photos from our trip to Galveston last summer (as in 2003) on Pixelog. I have a few Houston photos to post, and then … drumroll please … I’ll finally post photos from our visit to Boston last summer! Yeah, sometime next year I might get around to posting some of the 1200 photos I took on our honeymoon of Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower.
You think I’m kidding. I’m not. Seriously, between the two, probably 1200 photos. Somewhere in there is the perfect shot.

LOL! You are right. Houston has got the absolute weirdest weather. I think the reason I can’t get in the holiday spirit at all is because it has been too dang warm for it. It seem surreal that Thanksgiving is already here.
What, you mean you’re now going to send US the cold weather?!?! Come on, Houston! You can’t let me down! Or Storm! Consider that Storm’s ENTIRE career is on the line here!? He was really banking on the rain in Houston to give him more air time during sweeps month!
I wonder if people from different parts of the world where it’s usually warm/hot for Christmas miss the ‘holiday spirit’ if they have an unusual cold front?
