The Things on my TV…

Earlier this week I got a huge chuckle over the commercial now on TV for the mayorial candidate for the Republican party in Houston, Orlando Sanchez. On November 20th, former President Bush and Barbara Bush have given him their support. The commercial is done in sound bits, and it just amuses me. I can’t explain why. I think part of it is Barbara Bush saying our dangerous our roads are in Houston … yeah? Is Orlando going to go out there and stop the idiots that drive through the intersection right by my office which is one of the top 3 accident intersections? If you saw how these people drive … well, it explains why our roads are unsafe. And why did Barbara & President Bush wait until Nov. 20th to back him? Why not a month before the November elections? Why weeks later? Yeah, ok.

NOW … Rudy Giuliani is campaigning for our mayorial candidate, Orlando Sanchez. Yes, telling us that if we elect him we will be showing the rest of the country what a city of hope and leadership Houston is. Ok, now most of you that visit this site are NOT in Houston … to you give a flip about who we elect for mayor? NO. No, no, no. I am sure you don’t care one single bit. What a stupid commercial. I love that it ends with “Paid for by the campaign of Orlando Sanchez”. In other words, they bought Mayor Giuliani to say good things about him? Gee, I wonder what else we will see before the run-off election on December 1.
