Two days in the car, over 1000 miles logged. I’m tired, and I wasn’t even the one driving it. Allergies have attacked, and my eyes itch and my throat is scratchy.
I needed a flower this morning. It is helping my recovery.
I managed to knit 3.5 strips for my Faith Jacket in the car on the way up; photos to come later. It was perfect car knitting, just as I suspected it would be, with no shaping or stitch pattern to it. I actually knit most of one strip in the dark – garter stitch can be a very good thing!

I would go crazy if I couldn’t knit in the car!! Hope you enjoy your break from school!
Hey, Christine. I’m listening to Episode 11 and popped over to see if Faith jacket pictures were up yet. Kathmandu is my absolute favorite yarn. I made the Backyard Leaves scarf from it last year and I just bought 2 (unnecessary) balls of charcoal for maybe a hat. Enjoy it.
I have been planning my traveling knitting, which gets fun since I will be both driving and flying. Argh…. But maybe I will win enough money in Vegas to get a wheel {evil grin}.
On the Podcast, which jacket/sweater was the one that was a bunch of scarves?
Happy Hoildays!
Feel better for Christmas! Good knitting to you, and a happy new year!
Um, I’m kinda out of the loop these days. What’s a Faith jacket??
