We Are Pure Evil ™…

Not that either Robyn or I could *ever* be described as being Pure Evil ™, (please note loud, sarcastic laughter) but I had a moment of joy in her honor when I read that Wil Wheaton’s scene was cut from the upcoming Star Trek movie. Oh, should I add that it was the first scene cut? Yeah. I know, I know. You’re thinking, “damn! Why is she a Wil-hater?” Well, I have my reasons. [via Mariann]

knowing my own opinion of the wil wheaton attempt at a blog site … then seeing the results from the bloggies (oh my gawd) … i can totally understand your desire to laugh this one down. be evil. be very eeeevil!

I hope he doesn’t read your blog because I’m not normally an offensive person, but I’ve never really liked the guy. Maybe it was just the character he portrayed on Star Trek, but I always found him kinda whiny. I guess part of me just wonders about some famous people that have personal journals (like him and cap’n kirk) – like they’re trying to use the little bit of fame they still possess to use the medium to their personal advantage. Of course, I know nothing about his motivation so I wouldn’t accuse him … probably just fame-envy or something on my part 🙂 Okay, enough rambling …

[ed k. arches fingers like Mr. Burns after having heard about the latest blow suffered by Wil Wheaton via Christine. Says in his most evil, creepy voice:] Excellent.

I like Wil. It’s not like he fixed the blog awards. People voted for him. It was probably because of his semi-fame, but name recognition is big in blogland. I don’t usually read his blog, but I don’t read 99.9% of the blogs on the net (and I read a lot of blogs). Hate him if you must, but I don’t understand how he’s hurt anyone. He’s not named Bush.

Why is it that I giggled when I read that story? I’m one of the few that liked Wesley Crusher (notice I didn’t say WW).

But I’m with Robyn on this one, we should all donate money so he can take the wife to Wally World, or Wal-Mart.

Screw giving him money to take his wife out. I think everyone should pool their money together and buy me some new Hanes Her Way’s and Spam(tm)!!

I honestly cannot stand WW. Self indulgetnt little puke.

People point to Walmart and cry “anti-union”.
Unions enable disfavored people to live satisfactorly without addressing their disfavor. This way their family’s problems are never resolved. Without the union they would have to accept the heirarchy, their own inferiority.
Unions serve to empower.
Walmart is anti-union because they are good. They try to help people address and resolve their problems by creating an enviornment where there are fewer hurdles.

Media ridicule and lawsuits are creations to reinforce people’s belief that Walmart is evil in a subsegment of the industry dominated by the middle and lower classes.
Low-cost disfavored Chinese labor is utilized by corporate america to maximize margins. They all do it. Only WalMart gets fingered because they are the ones who help, and those who seek to create confusion in the marketplace want to eliminate the vast middle class who have a real chance and instead stick with lower classes who may not work otherwise. So they dirty him up while allowing the others to appear clean.

The coining of the term “Uncle Sam” was a clue alluding to this::Sam Walton’s WalMart is one of few saviors of the peasant class.
