Wheeeeeee!

Mike is coming home today! Mike is coming home today! I’m dancing around the house, I’m so excited that he is coming home today!

I finally reached a point where I could sleep at night (sheer exhaustion will do that to you), but it still hasn’t been the same with him gone. I’m so happy that I’m about to go to the airport to pick him up!

In the latest knitting news, I stopped in to my LYS and asked the lady that taught my sock class how to purl Continental. She showed me the regular way, and then she showed me the Norwegian purl. I picked it right up, and I am zooming along. I love it. Before, any time I tried to rib I ended up with a bunch of extra stitches and a whole lot of frustration. Purling Continental takes care of all of that! Now I can finally start on my socks. Wheee!

I am sooo guilty of blurking here at The Cookie. I have no idea how I found you months ago, but I kept coming back! I so enjoy knitting. I am totally into continental. I feel as though I complete the project in no time.

Wheeeeeee!!!

Mike found Zip Zaps for me yesterday! Out of the blue he called me to let me know that he had picked two of them up for me at his local Radio Shack store. He still wanted one though, and when Kymberlie found out that we could get another one, she decided to get one too! I can’t put mine together until Christmas (they are flagged as Christmas gifts for now, and I got the carrying case and track for Jason too), so when Mike dropped them off at my office this morning she was nice enough to let me put hers together for her! I got to drive it around our desk too – wheeeee! They are so much fun!

Are those the annoying little cars the guys are selling at the carts in the mall?

I swear I almost stepped on this tiny RC car and the fella driving it was having a ball. He had this portable cart at the mall (I guess they rent space) and to get attention he’d run it between the feet of passers by.

Cute though. Are these the next “big thing” for Christmas?

They will have a New Beetle. I work at Radio Shack. We were supposed to get them mid november, but for whatever reason we havent. They will be available in Turbonium Green and Blue. We will also have a shell kit that will come wih a porshe shell and a beetle shell.

My sweetie just got us a pair for Valentines Day and we love them. There is just one problem.. I am trying to find the fast and furious street up grade but can’t seam to find them.. Any help would be appreciated… Thanks!
