I honestly feel like crying right now. I took a ton of pictures today at Space Center Houston. Some really cool ones too! The counter was counting down, noting the number of pictures I had taken. And I pulled the card out of the camera to pop it into the card reader … only to discover there was NOTHING there! What happened? Where did they go? Can I cry now? Some of them were priceless ones of Jordan & Jason too. Damn! I guess we’ll just have to go back again so I can take more. I’m just so sad that I don’t have any to share right now. Man! When I was carrying stuff upstairs earlier I think I put it in my purse, and it was sort of poking out of the top – right by the magnetic snap closure. I would be willing to bet that just zapped them right off of there! So before I head over to Austin, I have to make sure I change purses!

Aww.. its ok. 🙂
Sorry to hear of your bad luck, but this just gives you a reason to go back! 🙂 Take care 🙂
When I was 15, I went to Belgium, Greece, and Crete. Shot a bunch of rolls of film on a lousy untested Brownie camera my mother recycled. She’d given the professional-quality one to my brother who didn’t take any pictures while in England.
The bBrownie camera failed. Miserably. I should have gotten one of those el cheapo Ektras or just bought film for somebody else’s and just shared.
That is when I learned early on… test all equipment myself and carry a backup.
Aw, sucks! I’m taking a cheapo disposable camera to Austin along with my digital camera and back up batteries.
Talk to Pix about image retrieval, she’s the master. I’ve accidentally blanked her compact flash cards before and she’s got software to deal with those sort of accidents.
Remember this from Call for Help? You might try it… I’m sorry! 🙁
Definitely try that!! It worked great for snapping up a couple of images I thought were long gone off my memory card.
