Trembling Veil

Naomi has posted her elegy, the graphic is gorgeous (my first reaction was “how pretty!” until I realize *what* I was looking at) and the poem is very moving. We had talked throughout the day yesterday, she was very concerned about her cousin in NYC. She has since found out that she is ok, and I breathe another sigh of relief.

The news is still on. And yet the weather outside this morning was gorgeous. The birds were singing. And life goes on.

The DNS transfer…

It seems that my domain is pointing to the right place finally. Yeah. (That, at this second, is as much enthusiasm as I can muster.) So you can link right to www.blahblahblog.com again and get here. Let me know if you had problems with that or if you still had to go through the long numeric route. Thanks.

Speechless… again.

I have tears in my eyes (again, how many times today?) after reading this letter on Susannah’s site. So many lives…

Random Comments…

This is just amazing. To have it updated already to read “1970 to 1977. Demolished by terrorist attack on September 11, 2001”. (Found over at davezilla.com.)

Michelle’s son’s teacher’s husband (that sounds awkward…) worked in the World Trade Center. So hard to explain this to children. She has so many other connections, friends & family, right in the heart of this all. I am praying for them.

Robyn has photographs of herself & her husband at the top of the building. Thank God that by some miracle her friends who work in the World Trade Center stayed home today.

And it continues on.
