Figure I’ll answer everyone here too – I don’t remember how to create an AvantGo channel. I added a button to my toolbar long ago that allows me to add a site as a channel, and I go through there. If you go to AvantGo and log in (or sign up!), there is a section called “My Channels” and you can use the channel wizard to turn any site into a channel. I created a special page for it though so it would be pretty bare bones, no sidebar, no graphics – something that would be small.

To create a stripped down page like I did, go to the MT Templates page and create a new index template. (That’s the top section – I overlooked it the first 3 times…) Select the option to create a new one, give it a name, give it a .html name. I have uploaded a text file that contains my exact code. (Right-click on that link and “Save Target As…”) It is set to display the last 15 entries (MTEntries n=15) and also will display the extended portion of an entry and all comments. (Thanks again to Promo for the push to finally get this done!)

I finally set up a PDA friendly page for AvantGo, so now you can take my site with you wherever you go! Just add this page to your AvantGo Channels! (I’ll make a friendly “add to AvantGo” link soon to the sidebar.) Oh, and if you were trying to post comments last night and you couldn’t, it was thanks to me leaving that page in a half developed state. Oops! Thanks to Promo for letting me know about the problem!

Oh, I forgot one other addiction. Free stuff. Especially freeware programs. I just loooove some good freeware. So when I came across Moon Software and their free goodies, oh it was a *sweet* moment! I downloaded everything, they looked so good! (Link thanks to Chris.) Now I wonder what goodies Meryl has over at her site…

I have said many, many times how fonts are like crack, and sometimes you just can’t get enough of them. Well, I can’t. And I know there are others that are in the same shape I am in. Blogs are just as bad. Maybe worse. Well, definitely worse. And poor Chris Pirillo is suffering from the effects. Not really from his own blogging. Oh no, he set his wife Gretchen up too. And even though she hasn’t been blogging for long, she’s hooked. I can see it in every post she makes. And she had a confession today. She has been neglecting the housework. (A collective sigh of sympathy is heard from bloggers around the world who know her pain.) Well, what happens in a two-blog family? This happens. I get the sense that poor Chris is annoyed, but unlike the other people who commented – his post cracked me up! Maybe it’s because I read hers earlier. Then I read the comments to hers. Where someone said she shouldn’t bash her husband, he might retaliate – and then he posted “done”. That’s probably why. Anyways… Chris, it’s your own fault. You pimped the blog to Gretchen. Now she’s hooked. Guess you’ll just have to do some FlyLady time too. Remember bloggers – start your day dressed to your shoes, and shine your sinks! You can do it!

Now I wonder, do all married blogging couples have this problem?
