Mayhem

2 cups mayhem, 1 teaspoon reality… Ohhhhhh… Keith has me laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes. What a riot. And he is linked to some great finds too. I have to make sure I go back to his site again soon!

The only problem I have with Macs is that some of them look so candy-like, you almost want to lick them and see if they taste how they look, like the walls in Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.

Have *you* ever thought that the colorful Macs look like they should taste good? Now every time I see one I am going to be looking for the OompahLoompahs, ready to start singing at a moment’s notice. Oh, how funny… (Link found thanks to the hysterical blogover comment that Candi shared.)

That is so sweet…

I was just reading about how Lonnie was playing with Kahea while Sherry was napping. That is so sweet what he told her when she said thank you (go read her Aug. 9 entry to see). I hope I find someone so kind someday. I will say I can not picture the IO ever saying something like that if we had married, and I am adding it to my “do not settle for less” list for future reference. Sherry, you got yourself a winner there…

Breathtaking…

If I was to get married again, I would want a photographer like Donis Perkins to do the photographs for me. I am stunned – they are so gorgeous. I just love that they are not your “typical” wedding photos. (Link found thanks to Erika whose friend is using him for her wedding.)

Fresh Made

Here is your chance – pick someone to “swap designs” with and have your site Fresh Made! I signed up last week and don’t have a partner. It would be really cool though to see lots of people signed up for this! Come on! It’s a cool idea. You sign up, you get a partner, and then you and your partner design a blog template for each other based on how you see them. Your partner doesn’t have to use the template if they don’t want to, but what a fun way to get to know someone! I just love the idea. So go sign up! Thanks again to Erika for putting this together!

Don’t Tell Melissa…

Don’t tell Melissa, but I am an Aggie. I was a die-hard one when I went to school there, but since then the *only* time I have said “Whoop!” in the past 10 years was the one football game I attended. I also didn’t graduate – although I did major in Aggie Tradition and minor in the Dixie Chicken. It’s a special two-year degree plan they offer. They send you home at the end of the two years, but you don’t get a diploma to go with it. You do, however, get a very personal one-on-one meeting with your dean to tell you just how great you did in the Aggie Tradition classes. (and how much you sucked in all the rest of your courses.)

My Aggie days are definately back in the past of my life, but I still thought it was cute when I read her post about her raging Longhorn spirit. (Oh, I call the University of Texas “UT” again, not “tu” like you are programmed to refer to it as when you are a student at A&M.) I am about to start attending A&M Former Student activities though – good networking for the sales job! (I would do a Whoop! for Melissa, but I don’t want her to hate me.)
