I forgot to mention last night that the 4th graders at Jason’s school had a music program last night where they did a “Railroad Tour Across America”. It was great – they sang different folk songs from across the nation and gave background information on the songs, how they came about, what types of music they inspired – I really enjoyed it. I took a few pictures which I will post later this week. It was really a sweet performance!
Guess I should mention…
My problems with MT were caused … by me. I don’t want it to get a bad rap or anything. I am sure I have some tiny innocent piece of code that is messing up something that is preventing my pop-up windows from working. I just figured if I tried out the Default Templates then I would be able to find my bug as I “rebuilt” the skins around them. Actually, the pop-ups were working for a little bit last night, but pulling in pictures too – and as I “fixed” them I messed it all up. Truly an ID-10-T error.
One reason I am REALLY glad I have moved over and need to move the Well, Slap Me Silly site tonight is the fact that I can click that “Post to MT Blog” button and select which blog to post too. This is really handy for me. I also plan on using Categories later.
But my problems with MT are due to me being a goober and trying to work on it when I am tired. I should know better!
Going Plain…
In order to figure out why my pop-up windows wouldn’t work, this site might just be going to the Default Templates of MovableType (which is what Worth Keeping and Betty Crocker Wannabe are already using…) Just thought I would warn you so that you didn’t wonder what the heck was going on. From there I will “rebuild” the skins around it and hopefully it will all work fine!
There are Still Tears…
While watching this tribute, after the plane crash today in New York City, I am realize that there are still tears, and they flow quite easily these days. I pray that the crash was just an accident, but something within makes that so hard to believe. Sending out positive thoughts to everyone. (Thanks to Faith for sharing that.)
I Want to SCREAM!!!
I checked. I checked again. I had the script tag in place in the header to make the pop-up window come up. I had the Comment Listing Template all set up. It didn’t work. Robyn was a saint and sent me copies of her templates. Zalary had sent me hers last Thursday (to rescue me!). I checked their code. I checked mine. Nothing should be wrong, but the pop-up windows are STILL not working. I just don’t get it – especially because for a moment they worked, but pulled up the full template in a small window. I thought all I did was change the code to make it not include the image (no scrolling bar on the bottom!) I give up. I give up. I give up.
