All The Cool Kids Are Doing It…

I am one of those people that tries to do this every day, but in case you didn’t know – this has been declared “International Blog Comment Week – Say something because you were there.”

So if you’re here – say something. It is an international holiday of sorts, after all. Come on, don’t be shy. It’s ok to jump in and speak up!

ok, I am going to say hi.

Christine, I have been enjoying reading about your adventures with your new house. I couldn’t help but to laugh at your last post, you certainly are making some lasting memories.

(been reading you for awhile and I should add–Congrats on everything!)

I have nothing interesting to say. So, I will say this… live every day as if it was your last, let go of your anger to coworkers and friends if you have any, lay still your drive to smack some idiot upside the head, go out and have a scotch on the rocks if you never have, get wasted in the French Quarter, recover from your hangover poolside in a nice New Orleans hotel, drive to Lafayette at 12:00 a.m. for no reason, have phone sex if you never have, kiss passionately and kiss long, learn to be kinky, let go of convention, be conservative only when you must, embrace your drive of lust, find beauty in all things, always keep in mind there is such a thing as ugly and you can block it out, let sexual passion rule you, question all manner of authority and dogma, raise the ugly scepter of doubt when you are told you must do something in the name of the Bible, be cycnical enough to challenge dogma, be bold enough to flip off someone, be kind enough to hug the ones you love, always be touchy-feely, apologize even when you shouldn’t so that you can make peace, know when to wage war, know to pick your battles wisely, always grab a sword or shield and fight alongside your friends even if they are wrong, never back away from a good pub brawl, always keep the tab open, remember that no matter how good-looking or nice a person is that someone out there is sick of their shit, know that there are two sides to every coin, understand that when someone writes a comment that they may not be meaning it in a bad way, always remember to make mad passionate love and have crazy monkey sex the minute you get home to your lover, know that love will conquer all, keep mindful that sometimes love’s conquests will need a can of whoop-ass to accompany them, love your God if you have one, worship no God at your choice, don’t push your religion on others but challenege everyone’s religious precepts, love yourself first above all things, start the day by saying to yourself that you do kick ass, love music of all types from rap to punk to techno to classical to opera to jazz but never listen to that assclown Yanni, remember that while Britney Spears may be a slut that she is having fun and if you had that money you would be wild too, love all opinions but fear not to criticize them, enjoy life, skydive once, bungee jump once, remember that cocaine is a helluva drug, never take the path of least resistance, surround yourself only with true and loyal friends, may your group of friends never take shit from outsiders, embrace your inner demon, walk with your inner angel, and live with your human self.

Hi Christine. I’ve been reading your blog and am really enjoying it. I thought it would be a good idea to leave a comment. Good luck in your new house, it sounds great! (P.S. I’m from the East Coast).

I read so many blogs and rarely comment, and yet, I’d love for more people to comment on mine. Hmmm…so in honor of the holiday and everything, I can’t just click away without saying something. Hi!

I’m here and I’m guilty as charged. I drive-by without leaving a “hi.”

So, hi! I’ve been reading for about a year now and I visited Texas two weeks ago for SXSW. Now I want to move there so I can come to tiara get togethers and meet all the fun Houston bloggers! Anyway… hi and props for the cool idea!

Well, since it’s IBC day and all, I just had to comment. I went to that Tivo site, since I’d never heard of TiVO and it sounds like a really neat product to have. I wonder if they have it in Canada?

like someone else earlier… I’m always wishing more people would comment… but then I figure I’m just boring them and they probably fell asleep and are drooling on their keyboards and, gosh, i hope they don’t get shocked!
