Flippity Flop

I noticed on CNN the other day that Flip-flops are gaining office popularity. As cool as it would be to work at an office that allowed flip-flops, I’m thinking it would be really annoying too. Maybe it’s just me, but wouldn’t that “thwap-thwap” sound as people walked down the hall get on your last nerve?

I have to consider things like that when I work in an office where the women outnumber the men.

(How sad is it that I started to write this post on the afternoon of the 22nd and just finally finished it on the 24th? *sigh* Such is how my life goes lately…)

Lost…

I’ve lost the little menu with my bookmarklets on my browser, and I don’t know how to get it back. I’m feeling rather lost because I use it frequently. Does anyone know where I can find it? (IE6, Win98. Work’s choice of OS, not mine.) *sniff, sniff* Come back, cool bookmarklet menu!

The Simple Things…

I picked up two rolls of film from the Lomo yesterday, photos taken last week in downtown Houston and over the weekend in Galveston, and I was thrilled with how a lot of them turned out.

Sometimes it’s the little things, the simple things that you overlook that make you the most happy. New Lomo shot in Pixelog, more to come soon.

Ping-a-Ling…

Whoo hoo! Jay Allen’s Daily Journey has returned. I’ve missed his more frequent writings, although his Stories from the Road have kept me happy (somewhat) while he has been gone. The latest struck a bit too close to home and brought me some good laughs.

I’m happy to see Jay back, but I must confess… I’m posting this to make sure his trackback pings are working. I was able to auto-detect the post to ping, and that’s a good thing. It’s all about helping one another out…

Blog, Blog, Blogathon…

The annual Blogathon is such a wonderful thing. It’s great to see people around the globe working for 24 hours to raise money for many different worthy causes. Might I suggest that you consider sponsoring someone? Here are just a few of the ones that I know:

:: Brandy
:: Christine
:: Daphne
:: Faith
:: Lynda
:: Mary
:: Michele
:: Rannie

I’ll be adding to this list later, including the charities they are blogging for. Are you blogging in the Blogathon this year? Let me know!

This post brought to you by a nudge and a reminder from Michele.
