“The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them.” – Mark Twain
Thanks to Kymberlie’s nudge when Jason & I met up with her for ice cream a few weeks ago, and again on her blog last week, I finally joined BookCrossing. As I mentioned earlier, one of the main reasons I want to ride the bus to work is so that I have more time to read. This just seems like a perfect fit as I finally get through all of my unread books.
I have already set up the beginning of my bookshelf – tell me, where is yours? I know there are a lot of Book Crossing members out there – I would love to add you to my friends list – and who knows where it might go from there! It really is exciting for me, because the last time I checked out Book Crossing there was almost nothing there. Now it is huge! If you haven’t joined already – here’s your chance!

I’ve captured and released one book. I’m a member, but I need to free more books.

I’m close to the end of “Why Girls Are Weird” – so close! I absolutely LOVE it too!
Yay, a new BCer! My bookshelf is under … wait for it … don’t be shocked … Crankydragon. 🙂
The Twain quote has been one of my favorite for a very long time. Long live the power of the written word. Love your site!
this sounds really cool. i just went and registered and am going to go home and pick out some books to release. what a unique way to make the world a smaller place.
Yup, I’m a BookCrosser too (bookshelf under bookwormbry), with a grand total of two registered and none released so far. I’ve really got to work on that. I’ve been on the lookout for released books, but haven’t found any yet.
You really need to lighten up. ebony shemale pic
