IT’S FINALLY MOVED!!! I am

IT’S FINALLY MOVED!!! I am so excited – I just ran around the office high-fiving everyone. We are finally, officially, at BlahBlahBlog.com.

In the process, I deleted the old Blah Blah Blog, but wanted to save the links to the cool sites I had found in the past out there – so here are a few of them: bluezfire.org, An Entirely Other Day, Terrapin Gardens, Footprints … Digital Strolls, Abada Abada, and Relapsed Catholic. Sorry, all the snappy commentary was lost – I just wanted to save the links so I could return. Terrapin Gardens has some really great wallpapers for your desktop of Europe – looking at Paris made me drool & want to hop on the plane RIGHT NOW. I miss Europe. A lot.

And the one quote I had over there that I wanted to save was from “How to Make an American Quilt”. They were talking about relationships and so forth and one of the characters (not noted when I saved the quote) said: “Like making a quilt – you have to choose your combination carefully; the right choices will enhance your quilt. The wrong choices will dull the colors, hide their original beauty. There are no rules you can follow – you have to go by instinct, and you have to be brave.”

My coworkers are an interesting

My coworkers are an interesting bunch – dorkism.net, pocketlint.net, and mymomsaysiamcool.com. Kymberlie is working on getting online too. Meanwhile, I have surrendered to the fact that my local ISP is never going to get things set up right so I can use blahblahblog.com and so I found a different host last night. I will be moving this as soon as the DNS settings change and I can get it all set up… Yeah!!!

Don’t YOU wish you could work in an office as fun as ours?

Uh oh. I told Marc

Uh oh. I told Marc about the blog, and now he is hooked. I’m telling you, this stuff is like crack. Soooooo… since he didn’t even know what a blog was until today, he doesn’t have one. I told him to just give it a little time. You can’t resist the blog. Meanwhile, he sent this little poem for me to share.

It is winter
The groundhog sees a shadow
It is the front tire of my car
There will be six more weeks of winter
But not for the groundhog

Thanks for sharing that with me Marc. I think it adds the perfect touch. It is a lovely day outside here in Houston. Maybe that’s my problem – I have spring fever, just a bit early. Considering how warm it is outside, that’s not too surprising. (Did I mention that I hate Houston & the fact we have 2 seasons? Summer and the other 2 months of the year…)

I was IM’ing with Marc,

I was IM’ing with Marc, and I sent him my list of URLs. This one, plus the address that this one is moving to – BlahBlahBlog.com – and the one for my soap site. Here is how the conversation went:

Marc: you are WEBWOMAN
Me: LOL
Me: I like to ramble. I needed a place to do it.
Marc: that’s like Wonderwoman with out the annoying invisible plane.

At that point, I was laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair. Of course, it doesn’t help that the boss is walking around the office with clients. I feel like I should be wearing a cape and helping out all the poor, defenseless, blog addicts…

AUGH!!! I clicked on a

AAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGH!!! I clicked on a link, and it overwrote everything I had written in the “Blog This!” window. Grumble, grumble. Lets see, maybe I can remember it all.

I am going to work on the “Blogs I Visit” links tonight, but for now, here are some more: This is My Brain on Blog… and Sometimes I Scare Myself: The Journal.

Kymberlie’s Dad got a new Pug Puppy. I bet it is just as cute as can be. I like it when other people have dogs. Part of me wants a dog, but they are *so* high maintenance. And I am high maintenance – so that is a conflict of interest there. I think I am better off sticking with my low maintenance, quiet, cats. But there are days where I would love to have a pretty golden retriever or a yellow lab. (Or a dog that is a mix of both)

I sent Naomi this cool card from Yahoo! Greetings that said “We Learned it all in Kindergarten … Boys are Stupid”. I couldn’t resist. It was too perfect, since she has listened to me whine time & time again about my man problems since last June. It definately gave me that nice warm fuzzy feeling when she IM’d me to tell me “thanks for your awesome-groovy-coolness self”. Awwww… I just love that warm fuzzy feeling. Especially when it comes from someone who ROCKS like Naomi. (I said more stuff before, but Blogger ate that too. LOL)

You know, I keep reading blogs instead of working. Is there some correlation between blogs and crack? Heroin? What? These things are TOO addictive. Mannnnn… I am going to be so busted if I don’t get back to work. Instead, I keep reading blogs and laughing at my computer. Everyone must think I am nuts. Oh well, nothing new.
