Reason #537…
Reason #537 why I like working for myself? There is absolutely no way I could be fired for what I write on my blog.
For the rest of you who don’t have the luxury of having a blogcentric job, watch what you post online. You don’t want to be the next statistic.
For the Record…
Sometimes you have to post about things so you won’t forget the milestones down the road. Last night was one of those moments. When I got home, I chatted for a bit with Katherine, who put my mind at ease over my CSS stress. After we talked, I finally let it go. I allowed myself to dive into CSS, and guess what?
I finally GOT IT.
I was debugging. I was moving containers. I was span-ing and div-ing all over the place. With the exception of one item on my list of changes to make, I made it happen. I had triple columns. I had borders. I had backgrounds.
It was a beautiful moment. For once, CSS did not make my eyes bleed. I might just learn to finally love CSS after all. That is worth remembering.
Blogomania Blogiversary…
I just discovered that I missed an important date last week. February 25th was the three year anniversary of Blogomania! Wow, three years. It actually doesn’t feel like it has been that long.
I have to thank everyone who hosts with us (close to 500 of you now!) and especially thank those of you that have been with us since the very beginning. Without all of you, Blogomania would not be what it is today.
Take a moment to check out the early Blogomaniacs: Amanita, Being Daddy, Bryan Kaplan, Cheryl Lambert, Global Sandbox, Julie and Brad, Kadyellebee, Mad Bull, MizDos, Neurotic Fishbowl, No Bra Required, Northwest Notes, Painfully Cool, PromoGuy, Struat.com, and Stupid Evil Bastard.
Ok, ok, I’m procrastinating. Back to work! (See what I mean? I’m going to starve to death before I get today’s project finished. *sigh*)
I’ve decided to try out FeedBurner – I love that you can see how many people are subscribed to a feed. So here is my chicklet that allows you to easily sign up – I’ll be removing my old feed soon, and I’ll add this to my sidebar as I make other changes this week.
Update: Feed is fixed, and now includes full posts. I’ve fixed the URL to link to the new feed.
