Kymberlie posted recently about how you can help find a cure for cancer, and it made me realize I don’t think I’ve ever posted about this – and I’ve meant to for some time.

My friend EJ lost his Dad to cancer last August, and in his memory he has asked that people sign up to be a part of Grid.org where you CAN help make a difference. You volunteer your PC to help accelerate grand-scale research, and that’s it. EJ shares a lot more information on how it works here.

I posted that there was a new version of MovableType out the other day, but I didn’t upgrade mine yet because there has always been a new release just a few days later. This time it’s a big one though – if you’ve upgraded to 2.6 or 2.61, you need to snag the security patch. Or if you’re like me and you’ve put it off, just get MT 2.62 and you’ll be all set!

Google Buys Pyra: Blogging Goes Big-Time
