Thanks to Jenn’s patient help, Pixelog is now back up & running and doesn’t look quite so strange! No more broken images! Now it’s almost time to dig in to the skins here. I’m not sure if I’m up to it yet though! Hmmm… maybe I’ll watch some more Call for Help first for inspiration.

Lead Me, Guide Me…
I need a redirect script. Just something fast and simple that I can post in the locations where my sites used to be to point, zip & zoom people over here or to the Pixelog. Anyone have any ideas? Or some code?
Guess what I’m about to start getting set back up here in the new home? Skins! Yeah! And then we can all see this site the way it was meant to be. I’m so glad this move is almost over!
Get ready for advertisers to take over your Web browser. Yes, you read that right. You thought the pop-up ads weren’t enough, right? So now they will just take over your whole browser! “A New York online ad technology firm, United Virtualities, is preparing to introduce a product that will allow advertisers to automatically change the appearance of Web browsers, usurping some of the functions built into popular browsers designed by Microsoft Corp. and Netscape Communications, a unit of AOL Time Warner Inc.” Oh, that’s just lovely. Get your hands off of my browser, damn it! Hopefully someone will talk some sense into these people, because I will never support a company that runs an ad like that. For a change I actually agree with Jakob Nielsen when he says “I think it steps over the line of what’s permissible. Changing software is not permissible. The software is mine.”
Style Browsing…
CSS Stylesheet Browser – now that is some cool stuff! IE5 and above on a PC can run this and then right-click to bring up a list of stylesheets used by the page. View the code, open the stylesheet, and more! [via Anil Dash]
Tweaks are Fun!
I finally got around to adding some tweaks to the sidebar on the default skin! I’ll tweak the others later this week, but for now there are new lists on skin #1. “Words Left Behind” are the 5 most recent posts with comments. “In Little Groups” are the category archives. I also changed some of the “Mini Me” items. Yes, Chris Pirillo is my gadget pimp.
