Here I just thought that Sam of IPonEverything.org and Todd of Excess Bloggage were gone. But Jennifer and I just figured it out …

They have become L337 bloggers and are running sites of their own over on Blogspot. And they haven’t told their wives because they don’t want to share any of the fame and glory… (By the way, that’s “leet” in hacker speak.)

Written by John Halcyon Styn, aka CockyBastard. Styn had a great “spirit” or “aura” about him – when he was around you felt wrapped in it, enveloped in this positive great vibe. Plus he gives a damn good hug. What a neat person – one of the many that I was able to meet at SXSW. (Yes, more photos coming soon.) When I read that post, I just had to link to it. What a wonderful thought. How many times have you shut someone out, not given them a chance just out of fear? And if you had let go of that – maybe they would have loved you, just for who you are?

This post regarding Myths about Copyright (hot-link isn’t working right, need to scroll down to April 26th) has some information that is good to know. It applies to all of us. I won’t deny that I’ve walked in the gray area of copyright, sharing mp3s and so forth. Not quite the same as copying someone’s work and claiming it as your own, but then again – where do you draw the line? [via WOIFM]
