Rewriting what I wrote so it’s not so cryptic, this post has been edited from it’s original form…

I have a little call for help… No, not the TV show. (Did you catch Chris yesterday? He rocked!) This call for help involves comments. I know you’re out there, and yet you’re not saying anything. Sooooo… if you’ve never left a comment before, could you leave one now? Pretty please? I love knowing who has been here! I just have to say it every few months – this is an open space. I welcome comments from everyone, even if I don’t know you. Heck, most of the bloggers that I do know I met thanks to comments! There is no inner circle, no special club. Even if the most you want to say is “hey! I’m here!” and nothing more – it’s all good. Now is your chance to speak up and be noticed! So, are you out there? Have you said “Hi!” yet? What’s standing in your way? I promise – it’s not me. I want to hear from you! So speak up! Everyone is welcome at the Casa de Big Pink Cookie!

Add to that the fact that I am working with Jennifer to test some ScriptyGoddess goodness and I will probably put a “Restricted Access” system in to place in the future if I get a new job and I want to hide certain posts from “The Man”. Your comments now would help me out in the future! See, even more of a reason to leave a comment!

Long ago I got a bunch of photos ready to post in Pixelog, but then I never got around to actually doing it. I had several calls to make this morning that required sitting on hold, so now there are new photos (at last!) over in Pixelog, and I’ll add more later today and throughout the weekend. Enjoy!

New pictures up in Picture Yourself, and there are some GREAT ones waiting in the wings! I hate to approve them all at once, so I’ll move on to the next round tomorrow, and more on Saturday! Do you have holiday photos to submit? What are you waiting for?

My holiday film exchange photos are online! I sent a roll off to tyd and got a huge Christmas treat when I saw the results! I’ll be posting a gallery of tyd’s photos this weekend – something for you to look forward to!

I’ve taken a ton of photos lately, but I don’t have time to post them all. Heck – I’ve got gifts to wrap, clothes to dry, and I need to do a ton of other things! But these were too good not to share. (Pop-up windows for photo links and thumbnails!)

You see, Saturday night after decorating the tree (that’s one of my favorite ornaments) and eating dinner, Mike & I took Jason and went to the subdivision nearby to check out the lights before we opened Christmas gifts. It’s mandatory that every house there decorates, and every street has a theme. Some are just pretty – but some are WAY overboard! So what do I do? Stop traffic just so I can take photos for you!

The stars house has a margarita glass outside. How appropriate is that? *wink* Then there was the huge Statue of Liberty. That was simply breathtaking. The other patriotic house was quite pretty. But my favorite? Bob the Builder! Check out those huge figurines in the front yard!

I thought you would enjoy. A special holiday treat for you. If you had been here, we would have been drinking margaritas as we cruised the subdivision, simply cracking up. You would have loved it. Hope you & your family have a wonderful holiday. May Santa make all of your dreams come true!
