FALL IS HERE!!!

The phone rang earlier and woke me up, and after an hour or more of tossing and turning, I decided to get up and catch up on TV. Of course, Chloe wanted to go out – and I now know she had a reason! (Since she didn’t do any doggie business out there. She just sat on the sidewalk.)

FALL is HERE!!!

There is such a difference in the air outside right now, it is amazing. You can feel the “crisp” sensation. I am so excited! I love this time of year, and with record highs of almost 100 degrees right after Hurricane Rita (within the past 2 weeks), I was wondering if it was ever going to come.

It is 70 degrees right now according to the web, and our forecast for today is a high of 74 and a low of 62. Matter of fact, the next 5 days look fabulous!

I know that for people living up north, 70 degrees is no big deal. It is a huge drop from 95 or even 90 degrees, which is what it has been for the past few weeks. 20 degrees is a dramatic difference, no matter where you live.

Mike is off of work tomorrow, and Jason doesn’t have school – I think we might just have to make a trip to the zoo or the museum or something. You can’t let weather like this pass you by!

Wheee! Fall is here!

lol here in Britain, the arrival of Autumn means massive temperature drops, and layering up clothing to keep warm 🙂 But then, that’s the fun side of autumn, the crisp cold mornings 🙂

Oh, I just love when the heat finally breaks, but don’t forget it usually blast heat one more time before it really chills (it used to get me every year). Still, it’s such a relief isn’t it?

Wanna wear your sweaters? Come visit me, currently, it’s 54, the high today will be 59. 😛

I hate the cold weather. No matter what the temp is outside, my school stays at around 60 degrees. We wear sweatshirts and jackets to school in the summer!
