I suspect that only people that have visited Germany can appreciate this explanation of German Toilets as much as I do. I always wondered why the toilets were so strange there. And I’ve learned a new word – Sitzpinkel! [via Anil]

My (German born) boyfriend had told me about those toilets!
When I was in Canada you did get splashed however cos the water in the toilet was so high!
Ya know … I was reading that just now and laughing my ass off. I faintly remember a hole in the ground “bathroom” somewhere in the Italian countryside…
