I’m doing the happy dance right now, as I just discovered that Flickr has added the option of getting an e-mail whenever someone comments on your photos, or once a day with a comment summary. Sweet! It is one of those “wishlist” items I have had for a long time with Flickr.
There are two ways to set it up. If you are viewing your recently received comments, there is a link at the bottom of the page for notifications. You can also go into your Account page and edit the option from there. It was at the bottom of the list for me.
Yeah, Flickr! Thanks for yet another addition to your very full list of cool things you offer!

If you use a feed reader, you can always check it there as well…
Yep, this is a great one I discovered a while back. I get emails when I get comments instantly, I get a summary of friends and family members new photos once a day and I subscribe to specific friends updates as well using bloglines. Glad you found this extra added feature that is such a way to watch flickr when you are not actually on flickr.
It’s about time! Thanks for posting this. 😀
yay! thanks for finding that out. i just chose to send me comments daily. i hope there’s some sort of daily digest for Twitter, too.
