Font Quest…

I was looking for Davy’s Crappy Writing an in the process I found lots of other font sites: typeboy, Abstract Fonts (yeah! Sorted by font style! Boo! Pop Up Ads!), Font Jungle (Don’t need to install Japanese characters to see the fonts!), and joeBob graff-X fonts, part of Typoasis’s Designers Group – which also has fonts by David Rakowski, maker of Davy’s Crappy Writing, which looks surprisingly almost identical to my own handwriting! I also found this long list of font sites, not sure how many links still work, it looks like an old page and I found a few of the links were broken. On the other hand, The Free Site has a section dedicated to links to Free Fonts, and they keep their pages up to date normally! Happy Hunting!

I couldn’t get to Font Garden yesterday, and I was quite bummed. I love that site as far as font collections go. Another great one is Fontalicious (which is where the font used in the Sudsalicious logo comes from, and NO I did not intentionally copy the name idea. It may have been sub-concious though, but he’s cool with it!)
