FreeiPod Status…

Because I have had many people ask, I thought I would share the update on the status of my iPod. My order now says that it is “In Progress 3” as of 8/10/2004 2:20:00 PM. By the way, I went for the 20 gb white iPod instead of the mini, since they are so hard to find.

Unfortunately, my plan has gone wrong because the FAQ page now says, “Please note that all orders that are in In Progress 3 have been back ordered. Our supplier is currently out of stock & we expect orders to start going out in about a week. An email will be sent to you once your item has been shipped.”

So, it’s coming. Eventually. But not today.

Quick question – do any of those offers you have to complete not require a credit card? Believe it or not (in this day and age), I don’t have one… lol

I think the eBay offer didn’t require a credit card, however I think they have discontinued that offer. Unfortunately, I think all the others require one.

Hmmm… yeah, not exactly the same thing. Numerous people have checked this out, and so far it seems legit. We’ll know for sure when the iPod shows up at the door though.

Just keep your eyes open. They also talk about the flat screen that you mentioned on this site. (read the comments). Hopefully if it “is” a scam you can get your money back from the sites you signed up with?

I didn’t know 5 people willing to partake in the expirement so I signed up at Free iPod Signup. It allows people like me to signup in a “conga line” fashion. Pretty neat. Hope it works.
