Hi! It’s Me … Who Are You?

It’s been really quiet around here lately – not many comments at all. I realize that it is in part to me not posting very often lately, but I’m working on changing that. Promise. (And they won’t all be bridezilla rants!)

I’m sick – yesterday, I could tell I was getting hoarse, today I have no voice at all. None. So I’m just sitting here, watching. I see all of you guys coming by as I look at my log files, but … that’s just numbers and data. I want to know WHO you are. Leave a comment. Talk back. Suggest things you want me to write about. Heck, if we pass the 100 comment mark on this post, there will even be a PRIZE in it for lucky #100! If we go higher than that, I might even give out more prizes! Sweet!

No multi-posting just to jack with the number – I’m looking for unique comments! Besides that, standard contest rules apply. Blah, blah, blah, must be eligible, etc. You know, the normal fine print.

But… if we can’t multi post why should I bother to help someone else to the prize??? Huh? Posting just means that I eliminate myself. I don’t like this game. 😛

Hi, I check your site everyday, I just don’t comment much on any of the blogs I read. I don’t remember how I found your site, I think my husband sent me the link. Anyway, I hope you feel better!

Hi! I think I found you through Jennifer at Working Mom. Now you’re on my blogroll. I usually don’t comment if I’m at work; just depends on how strongly something strikes me.

We’re coming to Houston/Galveston later this summer, hopefully. What should we do besides Moody Gardens? We’ll have a few days, two squinks (9 and 3.5 yo) and not a lot of cash.

Hi, there. I’ve been reading your blog off and on for the past few months. I can’t remember how I found the link to it either. I think I might have commented once or twice, but I typically refain from doing so since we don’t know each other. I don’t want to come off as a creepy stalker or something. 😀

I don’t know about everyone else, but personally, I really enjoy reading what you already have been talking about. It’s refreshing to hear someone frankly talk about their life. I’m not saying you need to get super-personal or anything, it’s just nice to know what other’s are up to.

I comment occassionaly when the mood strikes me – or your comments move me. Not sure either how I happened onto your site, but read it a couple of times a week. Love the wedding planning stories and just the comments on your life in general.

I’m still voting for Chicago for your honeymoon (I know I’m in the minority!!), and it not Chicago, I would definitely go to London. Love, love, love London. Love it more than Paris. Shocking I know. But be prepared for the prices in London – it’s about 2 pounds to the dollar. That in itself may be the deciding factor.

I know I’m posting early and won’t win the “prize”, but thought I’d say Hi! and hope you’re feeling better soon.

Hi Christine. I really enjoy reading your blog. I guess I should comment more. You’re stories are great and I hope all goes well for the wedding and honeymoon. Can’t wait to hear about your big day! Don’t stress out too much. Have fun.

did you tell Mike to call me yesterday? because when he did, i thought he was a client! i was like, how did he know my sister used 3 Men Movers when she moved into her apartment? it was like that whole balsamic vinegar thing… remember that? 😉

My suggestion would be to hand out free donuts to all the visitors – you know – for a limited time until we’re all addicted and just run over here like starving dogs.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve been a bad visitor. My blog visiting and blog posting has been way off.

You have an excsue (what with the wedding and all). I have an excuse too, it’s just not a good one. 🙂

*moves out of lurker-dom*
Hi! Hope you’re feeling better now. Can’t remember when I started reading your blog, but I’ve been here for a while. Haven’t commented much because I don’t know you in real life (like Alexis).

I’m voting for Paris or Prague for your honeymoon because out of the European/UK options that you gave, those are my favs. I prefer Germany during xmas and Venice in tourist-offpeak season, but that’s just me. =)

oi…eu sou do BRASIL !!!! passei por aki e adorei seu blog…mais vc nao deve estar entendendo … Kisses !!!

Hi 🙂

I started reading your blog… oh geez, like over a year or so ago, then I stopped coming around, to most blogs & the internet in general (wish I could remember just HOW I managed that, I am really on here WAY too much LOL), and then just recently found you again thru… oh, several other blogs..

and then I’ve been adding people to my blogroll like mad lately, expanding my online viewings LOL… and I’ve been incredibly rude & not been commenting… sorry about that…

anyhow, enjoy reading, congrats on the pending nuptials & going anywhere far far away for a honeymoon would get my vote!

Hi! Sorry have not left comments. 🙁

Say, did you ever get the info on how to add those links to the bottom of a blog for $$$$$$$$

🙂

Not that I am desperate or anything.

Hello. I’m a bad bad commenter. I read, I lurk, it’s what I do. I never remember to comment. But I’m here! And I must say I enjoy reading the bridezilla posts… they’re kind of entertaining. (And I mean that in the nicest way possible!) 🙂

Hi from Sweden. For your honeymoon I’d have to say San Francisco if you want to stay in the US, if not, I think Paris sounds great. Never been there, but hey, it sounds very romantic.

I’m trying to visit all the blogs I have been neglecting since last month! I’m so excited for you and Mike!! I hope y’all have a great wedding day! 🙂

I was going to comment last night to say that I was sorry for not commenting, but the cat wanted to go to sleep. You see, she has somehow turned channeled a newborn. She sits on the mouse when she wants me to go to sleep. She gets me up before the sun rises (cold nose to the face or a paw whack) and she wakes me up in the middle of the night with little meows in her sleep. The way she’s been, I’ll never have kids. Just kidding.

Actually I once again blame my lack of commenting on my newsreader. It’s just too easy to read and go.

I’m sorry you’re sick. I’m getting over it myself – had no voice last week, then got just enough of it back to go into NYC and scream and sing like a dork at a Tiffany concert. Then it was back to no voice and lots of coughing for a few days. The cough seems to be the last to go.

Anyway, I’m still reading! Hi! *waves like a dork* 🙂

HI. Long time reader, short time poster. I didn’t start to really post in other people’s blogs until I got a comments page of my own and realized that it sucks knowing that all these people are coming in, and not saying one. Damn. Word. I thought that by adding comments I’d finally get to see who was coming in. No dice. So now I make sure to comment wherever I go so people don’t end up frustrated and pissy like me.

Yo. I’ve commented a few times. Some days I have a lot to say, some days not so much. I live in Broaddus, Texas. (if you’re interested in location.) And umm….oh yeah…for the honeymoon…anywhere!! I’ve been married for 3 1/2 years and still haven’t been on one!

just another lazy blogger. I comment when I feel like it. Happen to be from Chicagoland (which is also my preference for a honeymoon location) but figured you’d be sucked into the romance of Europe, so I never bothered to voice my opinion. My honeymoon, btw, in October of last year, was spent driving up the Mississippi river along the Great River Road, topped off by a visit to the Spam museum in Austin, MN.

I comment once in a while, read frequently… Much more frequently right now because I’m a graduate student and it’s the end of the semester and i’m a really really good procrastinator. See those repeat visits from the same ip? numerous times in the same day? yup, that’s me. when I hit a wall with the paper I’m working on I surf through all the blogs I have listed… None of you post enough to allow me to procrastinate for long (though I keep trying…)

🙂

first, i hope you feel better soon.
second, this is something i’ve been wondering about for a bit. how do you have the commenter linky love thing setup? i’ve noticed it doesn’t allow for duplicate names. i like that. would be interested in knowing how that was done. thanks.

HELLO. HOpe you are feeling better soon. I read frequently, don’t post though. I did actually email both you AND mike quite a while back but got no reply from either of you.. was a bit sad not to hear back, as I know Mike from back here in the UK (albeit briefly, but we both worked for S) and only found out the connection with B.P.C. recently with all your wedding stuff! Anyway. Am rambling. Hope you guys have a great wedding! Re the honeymoon – go all out, have the best holiday you can afford / get time for. THat’s what honeymoons are for! Paris is romantic, London is great, but that Danube thing sounds even better! Me, I’d go somewhere like Africa or the Caribbean or something if I could…

Hi! another lurker here. Actually I posted on my own blog about the lack of comments a few weeks ago, and it kinda backfired… oh well! Hope you feel better, and go ahead and post Bridezilla stuff, it’s been too long since my wedding and I like hearing other people’s trauma ;).

Hello! I try to visit your blog at least once a day. You wouldn’t know it though because I suck at commenting. I have been making at an effor lately to comment more. 🙂

P.S. I don’t mind your wedding related posts. It’s like reliving my wedding planning. Wait…I’m not sure if that’s a good thing. 😉

i’m ericalynn. i live in philadelphia, pa, currently. i’m actually coming to houston the same weekend you are getting married. isn’t that the luck!?

i’m currently exhausted and at work.

i just ate a really good salad 🙂

i’m getting married next May and am slightly freaking out.

you? 😉

Sorry to hear you’re sick. Maybe you could use this as an excuse to take a few days of rest from the wedding extravaganza. Everyone needs a break now and then.

Hey Christine… hope you are feeling better!

Wanted to mention that I think of you every time I snuggle up in my cozy blue blanket, O Goddes of Yarn Provision. 😉
