Old Spice ranked the 50 Sweatiest Cities in the Country. Why, I wonder? Oh well, the point of this post is this. Guess where my favorite city (note sarcasm) ended up at on the list? Yes, Houston is #4. Well – I’ll give Houston this much – after being in Tucson last week where you felt like you were going to burst into flame when you went outside, Houston seemed nice and cool this week at a cozy 93 degrees! Old Spice? That stuff REEKS…I would almost rather smell sweat!
Anyway, I used to live on the Washington DC area, and was surprised that it ranked at #20…that place is hell in the summer time; I thought it would have ranked higher. On the other hand, I have not been to Texas or any of those other places!
Just glad to not have seen Maine (where I will live sometime before I die!) on that list!
OKC and Tampa aren’t all that far apart — go figure!
That is a really accurate looking list. Memphis is 7th, which is damn true! I live in Louisville now and have only recently stopped laughing out loud when people complain about the heat. It’s never that hot here, there’s always a breeze, and whenever the humidity even starts to get high, it rains. I may not love Kentucky, but I love the weather.
My goodness… just thinking about 93 degrees makes me want to pant.
