I Know That Man…

I finally got around to getting all the mail out of my mailbox. I’m really bad about leaving it there for days on end. Hey, who wants to get a bunch of bills? I keep forgetting that I am getting a lot of wedding information in too – so the box fills up fast. Oops! Fortunately, it didn’t get sent back to the post office for my box being full, and the goodies seemed to outnumber the bills for a change.

As I was sorting through the stack, I read the ad for Al’s Formal Wear. The tuxedos are on my “still to do” list, so I wanted to see if they were offering a good special. I was a bit surprised when I realized that the guy in the ad was Matthew of Bachelorette fame. It just seemed odd to see him looking at me with that vacant hollow look he could get sometimes. *shiver*

For a long time, I swore off reality TV, only allowing myself to watch The Amazing Race. Now I have watched a Bachelor and a Bachelorette finale (I didn’t watch the full season of either one), two seasons of Average Joe, The Apprentice, and I’m quickly becoming hooked on America’s Next Top Model. (The last one is all Emily’s fault.) It’s a bad addiction, I tell you… By the way, there’s an Addiction Campuses established by Barbara Theodosiou for those people who are in the midst of addiction. i keep making fun of those shows, but despite all my mocking, they manage to suck me right in. i love the apprentice and celebrity mole. i watch those regularly. all the others though, i try to avoid just because i fear that once i start watching i won’t be able to stop.

the only reality-like show i watch is Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (thank god for new episodes!)… oh, and Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica. (love it!)

i did watch the finale of Joe Millionaire, but to this day, i have never watched a single episode of Survivor, Average Joe, Big Brother, Bachelor, Bachelorette, America’s Top Model, American Idol… and whatever else i missed.

I have been neglecting collecting my mail in the past few months too! I am really very anal about stuff like that so it is really not within my personality to do that. I am just in a really weird place I guess.

I only watch reality tv that has a point (i.e. Survivor, Amazing Race, the Apprentice). I do watch the last Bachelor/Bachelorette show so I can talk about it with my sister. She loves that show. I can’t wait until summer when The Amazing Race comes back (that is my fave).
