Scott made a good point in my comments earlier. The political parties (both sides) “have us right where they want us.” It’s true. I guess I am feeling very cynical of politicians in general after watching them say one thing and do another.
I promise, I will not attempt to write in the future any posts that even sound close to me being a war blogger. I will probably still rant about government idiots, but that’s a whole different story.
Speaking of which, I haven’t mentioned it recently, but did you know that there is a whole uproar over how they went about looking for the “Killer D’s” when the Democrats walked out of the Texas Legislature a few weeks ago? Charles has been doing a great job of following all of it the past few weeks, from the scandal of the DPS shredding evidence to the debate over DeLay calling in Homeland Security measures that weren’t legitimate. They even sent the DPS to a hospital to check out the neonatal unit to see if one of the Democrats was there. Charles has a Killer D category set up to make it easy to follow along. It’s always a hoot around here!

You should write about whatever you want to. If you want to write about politics, do. If you don’t want to write about politics, don’t.
My experience is that most net.pundits don’t know jack about anything anyway.

i’m telling you, we need to create a third party from scratch … a middle-of-the-road party that can appeal to most people. our platform will be one of compromise. we’ll also ease off on the regulations. the last thing we need is MORE federal laws and regulations, ugh.
