In Color…

In Color

This is the original color version of the black & white photo that I posted the other day of Jason. I took this for my handmade gift for my Mom for Christmas, so I couldn’t post the original until I gave it to her. We had “Second Christmas” yesterday at my parent’s house, and it was a nice way to bring in the new year. Gifts were exchanged, good food was eaten, time ws spent with family – what more could you ask for?

Now it is back to everyday life – Mike is back at work today and Jason goes back to school tomorrow. And me? I’m off to hunt for good photos!

The black and white was great, and I usually like black and white portraits better, but the color version has so much more depth to it. I wonder if it’s the Photoshop that’s making the b&w seem “flatter”. This is a great portrait.
