Lalalalalala…

Another one of my photos has been posted at L alaLand! It’s one of the pictures I took in London, because over there they have to remind you to look right when you cross the street, instead of looking left like you do in the US.

I swear, every time I crossed the street I thought I was going to be run down any minute by a zooming black London cab. After a day or two, I remembered to look right … and left … and right again!

The same rules apply in Australia, which also have right-hand drive cars driving in the left lanes. I didn’t have trouble with the steering and the roads while in the Australian countryside, but had a LOT of trouble in Sydney with its one-way streets. It’s amazing the Aussie pedestrians are alive to tell the tale of the week I was there.

Gah, i was on here before in law, now im in parenting, and i think women over 50 should never ever wear bright pink, especially if its too tight. die old lady bright tight pink DIE!!!

Lalalalalala…

After I received my latest update from LalaLand, I was inspired to submit some of my recent photos. The theme this month is “Blue Skies” – and it was while I was going through my photos that I came across the Vegas Liberty photo that I shared on election day.

Imagine my giddy glee when I got word that one of my other photos, a shot of the London Eye, was selected for the photo of the day?!?!? I’m so psyched!
