Must See TV…

For those of you that don’t have Bravo, and are therefore missing “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” – I just caught a commercial on NBC that they will be airing one of my favorite episodes so far, the wedding proposal guy, on Thursday night at 9pm CST. Also, they will be on Leno on Thursday night making Jay over. Now you know that is going to be amusing!

I also saw a commercial for the upcoming season of Friends. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve never really wanted Rachel to get together with Joey. I’m still hoping that in the end she will end up with Ross. I hope they have toned Monica down some this season – the wedding season and the one after that she was super annoying at times. It will be interesting to see how it all ends.

OK first of all Queer Eye For The Straight Guy sucks. There could not be a more stereotype reinforcing show on television.

As for Friends, well, I don’t care who Rachel ends up with as long as Monica gets more annoying! She makes me seem normal!

*kiss*

Really? You hate it that much? Chelsey called and left me a voice mail about how much she loved it and that she didn’t think she had laughed that hard ever. Then again, I don’t look at it as a stereotype – no more than I look at any other show as a stereotype. I don’t expect every hospital to be like ER and all cops to be like on Law & Order.

And for the love of all things good in the world, I hope that all New York women don’t dress like Carrie from Sex and the City!

I hope Monica has chilled too – I also miss her look from a few years ago when it looked like to me she had some flesh on her face. With the long hair that hangs around her face now, she looks like a witch gone too thin! I know mean.. but I’ve seen her look better!

my favorite episode is definitely the wedding proposal guy… he was so super yummy! and i don’t think the show stereotypes them at all. i think they actually enjoy being that way… which is comfortable with themselves and in front of the camera and in their element. that’s why they’re the gurus in what they do.

I might just be the anti-Friends, but I never liked Joey at *all*. He just annoyed me, I guess. As for QE, I don’t think it’s stereotype reinforcing at all — I know people who are so flaming the stereotypes don’t quite live up to them. 🙂

i think friends is the wrost show on t.v. i cant stand how they think they have everyone single person catorgized on the frigging show. the writers must be the worst in the busy and have no creative.
