I’ve always wanted to know how to do the slide shows like Dawn does, but until now I didn’t know how. Fortunately she points out on her About page the PHP script she uses. It can be found at zinkwazi.com.
By the way, I made this post for me. That way, months from now when I want to use it I’ll know where to find it. That’s the main reason why I started my blog actually – an easy way to find links that I really like. Why did you start yours?

Because everyone else was jumping off the bridge… 😉
Haha, I started mine because I just finished college, and I wanted my friends far away to be able to keep up with my life. Then I discovered the vast blogging frontier and didn’t look back 😉 (Actually, I started a journal last summer with no real clue that many people did it, but as I got really busy over the past year, it fizzled out around February – especially since most of the people I was actually doing it for were already with me most of the time.)
One note: I’m not sure exactly what you’re looking for in a slideshow, but I noticed that you’re using the “gallery” PHP script for your photo albums for Boston – those scripts come with a great Java slideshow that allows viewers to specify transitions and length of time for each picture to be displayed… quite a nifty little tool that you might want to look into 🙂
Addendum: the latest version of the gallery script has the slideshow function … not the older versions.
erika nagged me. 🙂 i’m glad she did!
