Not Reality…

By the way, when you see the Texas Delegates Arriving In NYC For RNC wearing those crazy-ass outfits, including custom-made cowboy boots with (*shivver*) “Bush 2004” embroidered on them, please know that we do NOT dress like that in Texas. Ever. I just wanted to clear that up before anyone got the wrong idea.

The problem is it becomes a feedback loop. We see people in flamboyant cowboy outfits and find out they’re from Texas, so the next time we see the looney clothes we ask: “Hey are you from Texas?” Answer: Yes, ma’am.

Normal Texans don’t fit the stereotype, so we don’t even ask where you’re from.

But seriously, custom embroidered cowboy boots? You guys have got to keep those people from crossing state boundaries.
