Oh no, you will BugMeNot…

Someone was looking for this the other day, but now I don’t remember who. If you need to bypass compulsory web registration (like the NY Times website), BugMeNot.com can hook you up with a way to log in without creating a new account.

Meanwhile, their own Registration page is priceless. “If you are an employee, partner, affiliate or legal representative of any site which enforces compulsory user registration then we require you to complete our registration process. It costs nothing to register and will only take a moment.”

Speaking of registration – I hate it when blogs enable the TypeKey system. I get the point and all that, but for some reason I can’t log in to TypeKey, it refuses to send me an e-mail with my log-in information, and so … I’m stuck. Waiting for all of my comments to be moderated. So if you’re one of the people that has been stuck moderating them – I apologize. If I could get it to work again, I would. *sigh*

I was hatin’ Typekey for a while too. I never got any registration information, and I never was able to log in. I re-registered and this time I’ve had much better luck. It’s still a pain, but it’s not quite as big a pain because once I got in Firefox memorized my password for me and I haven’t had any more problems with it. I’m a BugMeNot fan, though, bigtime.
