Returning to 90210…

Confession time: I’ve seen almost every episode of 90210. I missed the first season because I was in Germany when it started, but I have caught most of those in reruns. Yeah, the show is silly, but I don’t care. It makes me happy, and that’s what matters in the end, isn’t it?

So when I spotted the blurb on the Captivate screen in the elevator yesterday announcing the 10 Year Reunion Special that will air on May 11, I had to make a note of it. Come on, you know you have guilty pleasures too…

I thought of Kristine and Kathy right away too – I knew they would be talking about it too! It’s nice to know I’m not alone in this.

oh yeah, donna’s not going to be there! and brenda is? that’s weird even tho she was blurred out in the end. i remember when that happened! i lost touch with the show about 2-3 seasons before it went off the air. i think i have the first reunion on tape, somewhere.

I am loathe to admit it, but I’ve seen most of them too 🙂 Had a roomie in grad school who was addicted and she got me hooked. But a reunion? Ack! (When’s it on, again?)

I always thought they should’ve spun off a show with Brandon and Steve. They were always going on stupid adventures together, I would’ve liked watching more of that. Is it true Ian Ziering isn’t showing up for the reunion? That’s a big disappointment for me.

Steve’s not going to be on their either? that’s like a Buffy reunion (years from now, hopefully) without Xander. hmmmph. it’s not like Ian Ziering is doing anything right now… right?

I know! No Steve. That is just soooo sad. I hated Steve at first, but in the end I really liked him.

What’s up with Tori Spelling not being there? Is she too busy having her chest pumped up? Or filming a new flick for the Lifetime channel?

Yeah why isn’t Tori Spelling going to be there? She’s never going to get away from being Donna. I live about 70 miles from the Speedway were Jason Priestly had his car crash last year and all the neighborhood girls (women in their late 20s and early 30s) were screaming/squealing “oh no Brandon’s been hurt!” It didn’t matter that he was a professional race car driver, nope he’s still Brandon Walsh.
